The 2010 Reunion in Sicily - Mount Etna
Mount Etna is one of the most active volcanoes in the world and the largest active volcano in Europe, currently standing 3,329 metres (10,922 ft) high. This varies with summit eruptions. The mountain is now 21 m (69 ft) lower than it was in 1981.
From the September 2007 eruption
Valle del Bove on the southwestern slopes of Etna was changed by the 1992 eruptions.
From Rifugio Sapienza you can go by cable car and then by minibuses towards the summit.
